On August 8th<\/sup>, 2024, the President of the University of Science, VNU-HCM, signed the decision to appoint Dr. Pham Thanh Tuan Anh as the Deputy Head of the Laboratory of Advanced Materials. As of now, the Laboratory is led by Dr. Tran Cao Vinh as the Head and Dr. Pham Thanh Tuan Anh as the Deputy Head.<\/p>\n

Dr. Tuan Anh graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics in 2014, a Master’s degree in Optics in 2017, and a Ph.D. in Materials Science in 2024 from the University of Science, VNU-HCM. Since 2015, he has been working at the AM-Lab as a researcher.<\/p>\n

Dr. Tuan Anh’s main research interests include thermoelectric energy conversion materials based on oxides and alloys, transparent conductive oxide thin films, nanostructured materials, and spectroscopic analysis methods. So far, he has been author and co-author of more than 50 publications in international scientific journals and 15 publications in domestic journals. Some of his notable publications appear in prestigious ISI-indexed journals such as Acta Materialia, Applied Surface Science, Applied Physics Letters, Chemical Engineering Journal, Journal of Alloys and Compounds, and others.
