Purpose of use

EN: Removal of moisture and solvents, drying and low-temperature baking of powders, precipitates, substrates and coated films (e.g. drying of sol-gel films before annealing), drying of glassware and sample holders, and sterilization of laboratory instruments in air.

Purpose of use

EN: Drying of powders, precipitates, gels and coated films under reduced pressure at moderate temperature, so that moisture and solvents evaporate faster while heat-sensitive, easily decomposed or oxidation-prone materials are protected. Used, for example, to dry precursors and nanomaterials after centrifugal washing, and to remove residual solvents from catalyst and electrode samples.
